The Best Season at Car Nicobar

The best season to visit Car Nicobar is winter season and the onset of summers. During November to April, the climate remains pleasant.

Summer Season at Car Nicobar

Summers are moderately hot and humid in Car Nicobar and generally last between the months of April to July. The temperature ranges between a comfortable 20°C - 30°C in these months and relaxing cool breeze makes the evenings quite pleasant.

Winter Season at Car Nicobar

November marks the beginning of  the winter season in Car Nicobar and it lasts till the month of February. Winters are very pleasant with the temperature range between a moderate 12°C - 23°C. The place looks dazzling in the month of  November when the flora and fauna are in full bloom.

Barren is an only active volcanoes in South Asia. It is a very small island in eastern region of Andaman group of islands and is situated 300 meters above the sea level. This is a natural habitat for wild goats which survive here by drinking the salt water, a distinctive feature of Barren Island.

Corbyn Cove is a very calm and serene beach area, which is very famous for the memorable experience of breathtaking views of sea and the lush green coconut palms. The main attraction of beach is the range of exciting water sports activities, one can choose, such as scuba diving, surfing and boating.

Located at Delanipur, Samudrika Marine Museum is a must see place near Car Nicobar to understand different areas of oceanic environment. Its five sections deal with the history of Andaman Islands, People of Andaman, Geographical information, Archeology and the Marine life.

Also famous as Wandoor Marine National Park, it is a great tourist attraction spot near Car Nicobar. It is a unique National Park for marine life. The Marine Park is considered as one of the best places for scuba diving in Andaman.

Baratang Island is a part of the Andaman and Nicobar group and is located just 90 Kms from Port Blair. At a distance of only 4 Kms from the island, Mud Volcano at Baratang can be seen.
